Delivery Rates and Policy

Shipping to 142 countries from 4 warehouses located in three different countries it is not an easy task. This also means that we cannot offer worldwide Flat Rate or Free shipping to all countries. The Webshop` shipping module is mainly configured for EMEA, USA and Canada. For these countries your Cart Total includes the door-to-door delivery cost to your address, less custom fees and duties where applicable. 

If during your check-out process – in all cases when – “Local pickup” or “Contact Us for a Quote” is shown as shipment method your Cart Total does NOT include the delivery costs. If so, you will be quoted after the Check-out process is completed; therefore please select pay by bank transfer (BACS) to check-out temporarily without a payment.

Our shipping rates are indicative and may change at any time. As per our Terms and Conditions you will be always quoted with the right rate on your final invoice.

Where we deliver?

We deliver to ALL countries and ALL locations; basically everywhere, except Somalia, Syria and Yemen.  For extreme and or remote locations please contact us and you will receive a quote almost immediately. You may need to contact us also for dangerous goods (for ex. battery storage) and some of the over-sized items as well and/or special project orders before you proceed with your order. If you are a customer from Egypt, Cuba, North Korea or Iran please be advised that shipments may be subject to an extra scrutiny, before and after the shipment is dispatched.

Delivery to Military Post Office Addresses (APO / FPO)

All packages to APO/FPO will be sent via the U.S. Postal System. The post office requires the Operator to hand deliver packages being sent to APO and FPO addresses, therefore may be a 24-72 hour delay in processing your order. “AE”, “AA” and “AP” the APO/FPO “states” of “AE”, “AA”, and “AP” are the only legitimate states to use for an APO and FPO addresses.

Items on pallets (energy storage systems, batteries, solar panels, large inverters, etc.) cannot be shipped to APO or FPO addresses. Please note that delivery service to APO/FPO is available only for items which are dispatched from United States. 

Insurance and Optional Delivery Services

Through our carriers we offers a wide range of Optional Delivery Services – from insurance, non-standard deliveries and various options to climate neutral shipping. Delivery Policy and Rates

Please note that on Standard Rates no deliveries are made on Saturdays, Sundays and other national or public holidays!

Notification

You will be always notified by the Operator via an e-mail  on your exact door-to-door delivery costs no later than 24 hours after your check-out. Exception are the orders that require specialised carrier.  The notification on shipping and the costs associated (if any) is done via e-mail on the email address indicated under your Profile in your My Account section (please keep your information updated!).

For deliveries requested for weekends, national or public holidays please consult with our Customer Care Team.

Arranging Delivery

Once we received you payment the picking, packing and delivery is initiated by one of our team members from Cardiff or Frankfurt. If your shipment requires Customs Clearance in your country than the documentation for this process will be also prepared by the Operator via the carrier you selected.

Once the Delivery Note is prepared including all the information about the shipment (exact product and serial numbers) the collection is arranged and the product is dispatched to your address.

Transit time – according to our experience

Depending on what product you purchase, the individual product packing and handling requirements as well as according to the cross-border custom clearance administration procedures the transit times for deliveries – according to our experience are as follows:

Transit time from UK and German warehouse to Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) is ranging between 48 hourss and 7 days after dispatch but can be up to 14 days, depending on the product you order and the warehouse from where your product is dispatched. Please ask your contact person for the expected date of delivery.

Transit time from UK and German warehouse to USA and Canada as well for Military postcodes are ranging between 4  and 30 days; again depending on which product you order and specific custom clearance procedures in the USA.

Transit time from UK and German warehouse to Australia, New Zealand  as well for South East Asia are ranging between 4  and 15 days.

Transit time from USA warehouse to Europe and other destinations is ranging between 10 and 30 days.

Transit time from USA warehouse within USA and Canada is ranging between 1 and 7 days.

Transit time for all other destinations, including the islands are ranging between 5-30 days.

Please note that the transit time for Dangerous Goods (UN 3480, Class 9, Packing Group II), covering mainly the spectrum of the battery storage products – outside of European Union – is between 15 and 52 days to almost overseas locations.

Delivery Rates

Delivery rates indicated at the check-out are Standard Rates; meaning where possible were calculated for Road Services. Next Day Delivery, Fixed Day Delivery, Fixed Hour Delivery as well as Carbon Zero delivery are available as optional delivery options at a small surcharge.

Ordering multiple and different  items in our webshop may result high Delivery Rates in your chart. Although we striven to set the shipping module as accurate as possible; if you feel that is excessive we are happy to review it at any time. Please contact us 24/7 here>>

Delivery rates include fuel surcharges and basic insurance. If you need extended insurance cover for your shipment contact us before your shipment is dispatched. Full cover insurance is an optional service and is charged at 1.48% of the total value fo your order.

Unforeseen logistic related expenses.

Any fees incurred by any shipping carrier due to lack of delivery information (address & or location) will automatically be billed to the customer. Please make sure you check your order confirmation to ensure accurate information has been noted.

If placing order via phone, please inform sales representative to note any shipping irregularities (which may be inaccessible to shipping carriers such as narrow driveway, rural locations, steep hills, dirt / gravel roads and missing address information and signage.)
